Call if something changed quickly, like a crack that opened after a storm or a door that stopped latching this week. Otherwise, send a request and a local foundation contractor will call you back.
Before you call
It helps to have:
- Your address, including whether it's in Texas or Arkansas
- Whether the house is on a concrete slab or has a crawl space, if you know
- What you're seeing: brick or drywall cracks, sticking doors, sloping floors, gaps at trim
- When you first noticed it, and whether it's getting worse after rain or dry spells
- Any earlier foundation repairs, pier logs, warranties or inspection reports
